Bare Fjas og Blågras originated in 2012 as a project combining children's songs and bluegrass, and has since developed into one of the country's most playful-serious bands within the genre. They have toured children's schools all over Norway, and gradually also cultural centers and festivals - always with the same signature: high energy, musical playfulness and a whimsy that appeals to both children and adults.

With solid musical role models such as Øystein Sunde and Knutsen & Ludvigsen, Bare Fjas og Blågras has created its own universe where humor, virtuosity and Norwegian storytelling joy meet. The repertoire consists of American bluegrass and country classics that have been given new Norwegian lyrics, self-composed songs from the band's own absurd and comic world, as well as traditional children's songs and tunes in lively bluegrass arrangements. The result is concerts that bubble with energy, musical excess and infectious joy of playing.

To Norsk Countrytreff They will not only bring their own show – they will also be the backing band for Maren Lein. Maren is a young, promising singer with a warm expression and strong communication skills, and the interplay between her clear voice and Bare Fjas og Blågras' driving bluegrass accompaniment lifts the music to a new height. The band's rapid tempo changes, tight harmonies and characteristic humor give Maren a powerful and playful foundation that makes the collaboration both natural and audience-friendly.
