Festival area

Inside the festival area there are two stages, Kolbein's Saloon and Hesjestauren. There is also a festival shop, merch stall and other sales stalls. In Kolbein's Saloon you will also find a café serving hot food and cold drinks.

There is also a bar connected to both stage areas.

Camping areas

There are two camping areas in connection with the festival. Upper camp and lower camp. Both camping areas have space for caravans, vans, trucks, camping buses and tents. There are toilets and emptying points for camping toilets at both camping areas. The entrance to the camping area is manned, and a festival pass including camping is required to enter the area.

There is an 18-year age limit at both camping areas. If necessary, there may be an additional camping area at Breimshallen.

Our campsite follows national guidelines for distance between arches, and we ask all guests to respect the boundaries used by our staff.

Shops

In addition to our own festival shop with the most important goods for our festival-goers, we have Coop Marked Reed and Coop Prix Byrkjelo nearby. Coop Marked Reed is a medium walk from the festival area (approx. 15 minutes one way). Coop Prix Byrkjelo is located approx. 4.5 km from the festival area.

Age limits

During the day and until 6 pm, there is no age limit in the festival area, except in the camping areas. After 6 pm, Kolbein's Saloon is closed to young people under 18, but we have a separate area for them by the stage at Hesjestauren. Our camping area has an 18-year age limit.

If the age limit is violated, you will be turned away from the area.

Security

Norsk Countrytreff values the safety of the audience and artists, and is equipped to deal with accidents and fires both in the festival area and in the camping areas. We work closely with the police, the Red Cross and professional private safety companies.

Our campsite follows national guidelines for distance between arches, and we ask all guests to respect the boundaries used by our staff.

Towing in camping

Admission to the camping area will start on Wednesday, July 10 at 13:00. We encourage our guests to use alternative waiting places in the municipality while waiting for the festival camp to open.

Alternative places to stay are Reed Camping, Breimsvatnet Camping, Byrkjelo Camping, Gåsemyr Camping, Utvikfjellet, Våtedalen, Gloppen Camping or a campsite in a neighboring municipality.

Parking

Parking is arranged outside the festival area, and all parking areas are well marked. Our festival staff will make sure to guide you to the right car park. Note that some parking spaces are a 5-minute walk away from the festival area.

Toilets

There are good toilet facilities in the festival area, with the main toilet building located between Kolbeins Saloon and Hesjestauren. The toilet has continuous staffing, and is cleaned and maintained regularly. Toilet barracks have also been set up in several places in both of our camping areas.

Shower

We have our own shower facility for our camping guests, and this is located by the riding hall at the lower camping area. The shower facility is continuously staffed during opening hours, and we always guarantee hot water.

Truck camp and parking

From 2024, it will not be possible to park carriages, vans, buses, trucks or other vehicles on the road outside the festival area while waiting for camping to start. This area will be used for truck camp, and we need the area itself in advance of the festival.

Hearing protection

At times there can be loud noise at the festival. Think especially about protecting small children by using hearing protection or earplugs.

What can't I bring?

You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol into the festival grounds. This also applies when passing through the festival area, between the upper and lower camping area. A separate route has been set up for those who want to bring alcohol between the camping areas, which are marked with signs.

Fireworks, own chairs/tables, weapons, dogs that are not registered service dogs, noisy equipment, laser pointers or other objects that could cause damage to personnel or equipment are prohibited.

Festival buses

In conjunction with the festival, festival buses will be set up from several locations in the area, returning at night.
