Free introductory concerts

In 2010, we launched the Country for the Elderly program to reach an additional target group. Since then, we have taken the festival to three different institutions in the municipality every year.

We'll bring coffee and cakes and tell you a little about Norsk Countrytreff.

In collaboration with pensioners' associations, deaconess boards, the Volunteer Center and home care services, elderly people who live at home also come to the concert and receive a ride to and from the concert. This has been a very well-received offer.

It is of great value to be able to offer high-quality cultural activities to the many people who are unable to seek them out themselves. And for many of those who live at home, it is also a very important social initiative, giving them the opportunity to get out for a break in their daily lives.

We are expanding our senior concerts this year!

Our faithful friends Longhorn from Lærdal have been a permanent part of Norsk Countrytreff since 1997, and we are happy to have them with us again in the anniversary year of 2025!

Longhorn always creates a good atmosphere, and as usual they will contribute to the senior citizens' concerts and during the church concert . This offering has become a cherished tradition that means a lot to many.

New in 2025!
We want to provide even more opportunities to experience this great music, and that is why we are expanding our senior concerts with a new location – Skei!
This means that we are now visiting:

- Løkjatunet (Thursday, July 10)
- Gloppen Care Center (Friday, July 11)
- Skei Care Center (Friday, July 11)
