WOODLAND is a newly established country band based in the deep forests of Sør-Trysil. The band consists of six members from different parts of the inland region, several of whom are well-established musicians with long experience in various ensembles and genres. In a short time they have established themselves as a strong name in Norwegian country.

They work diligently with their own material, in addition to both old and new, familiar tunes from the country "across the pond". It oozes joy when this group gets together. It's clear when these guys stand on stage and take you on a tour through everything from Nashville twang and Tex-Mex to the swamp life in Louisiana.

Classic country, Tex-Mex, Cajun and country rock are presented with multi-part vocals, acoustic guitars, banjo, lead guitar, dobro, bass, double bass and flute.

In the summer of 2026, the band will go on tour with Joni & Olivia Harms from the USA.
