Utlaav are Eva, Emma, ​​Uma, Anna and Hanna. Well-known and beloved country traditions are seamlessly woven into a modern landscape, influenced by the quintet's roots in indie rock and jazz. The girls address everything from undiagnosed narcolepsy to bitter heartbreak, and wrap it in folk and Americana.

The new band has had a fantastic first year. Between warm-up concerts at BLÅ and John Dee in Oslo, and the Song and Poetry Festival in Haugesund, they won Utlaav the award given as Norwegian Country Talent 2025. With this wind at their backs, the girls are now in full swing with preparations for their debut album, which will be recorded together with Geir Sundstøl (Stein Torleif Bjella etc.).
