Bråtabrann kickstarts 2024 with a new song and a new vocalist! Many exciting things have happened at Bråtabrann since they sold out at Krøsset in early November 2023. They have joined the band with the very experienced musician and songwriter Anders Trongaard from Flisa, and Anders is the band's new frontman. New music has been released, and the song "Kom inn" embraces the inclusive life that often comes into its own in the countryside, regardless of whether it is in Indre Østfold, in Finnskogen or other places in our long country. The door is simply always open for good people and a good atmosphere!

Bråtabrann is Norway's newest addition to the country band scene, and the band, with its roots in the deep forests and wide fields of Østfold, recreates the magic of the countryside in its music. Bråtabrann consists of 5 very talented concert and studio-experienced musicians from Trøgstad. Together or separately, they have toured the country with various lineups, and have made a name for themselves on several recordings.

Earlier this year they released their first song “Hjemmekjær”, which was very well received in both rural and urban areas. The song climbed to #34 on the Topp50 - Viral Chart in Norway, as the most shared song. Many have held the song and the band close to their hearts, and can now look forward to more music coming steadily! “Hele bygdas mann”, “Langt av sted”, “Sløveri”, “C'est la vie”, “Alltid mekke bil” and last but not least “Han må ut” show the band's breadth in both lyrics and melody. But lyrics that deal with life in the countryside, rural originals, expatriates with homesickness and not least new and old love, speak to audiences of all ages.
