Howdy!

We are Utlaav , a band consisting of five stunningly handsome and charming girls who play country music! We are a new band that has kept ourselves a bit under wraps by performing in remote locations like Haugesund and Larvik. Fortunately, we have received good feedback (and are surprisingly popular with the 50–65 age group), and now we are ready to spread the word and meet industry professionals and other musicians.

Although we are a newly formed band, we have all been involved in music throughout our childhood, and we are active in several bands and projects. We found each other in Oslo and have been playing together since the fall of 2024.

We call ourselves a country band, but draw inspiration from genres such as folk, indie and Americana. This genre-broad background makes us an exciting quintet that tackles topics ranging from undiagnosed narcolepsy to bitter heartbreak.

We are currently recording our debut EP, and in that context we wish for more gigs and opportunities in the future. Our dream is to create and showcase music that we love. We want to show that country is a broad genre that everyone can enjoy – regardless of age or background.

One of our big dreams is to reach an international audience, so we can live a true country life. Life on the road is calling!
