The trio Country Queens Folkband consists of Bente Akslen Hagen (vocals and guitar) and Gro Visdal (vocals and bass) from Vågå, as well as Jenny Augusta (vocals, guitar and percussion) from Sømna. The band has been active in the Norwegian country music scene in recent years. At live concerts, the trio has received very good feedback from both the press and the audience, with comments such as: "Country Queens are straight up brilliant" - Hans Erik Kjosbakken (Fjuken 2024).

In 2024 they released their first album, “Dancing At The Mansion” .

Bente Akslen Hagen and Jenny Augusta Enge met after both played in Oslo in December 2015. However, it would be several years before Country Queens Folkband was established. Together with Gro Visdal, the trio was born in a church tower in Tøyen in 2018. Since then, they have played on TV and at everything from sold-out church concerts to festivals.

These ladies boast powerful, harmonizing voices and a wide repertoire of good country music!
