Biography
Sivert Bjørdal comes from Ørsta in Sunnmøre, and is considered one of the foremost representatives of original country music. His voice brings to mind Hank Williams, and much of his repertoire is also taken from Hank.
Sivert has extensive experience as a country singer, and it has been 40 years since he started playing this style of music. Over the years, he has performed at most country festivals in Norway.
Sivert is true to his own musical convictions and the real country music. This is “Pure Country”, and Sivert is quite simply a guarantee of a good atmosphere and good music. With his own style and sound, he has a loyal and dedicated audience that knows how to appreciate a great singer and artist.
On Norsk Countrytreff Sivert Bjørdal will be in charge of the downtown concert at Reed on Saturday, July 13th!
