Norwegian Country Talent 2026

The winner of Norwegian Country Talent 2026 was Chico Acevedo - in strong competition from Breisladd.

Chico is a 23 year old artist from Tomter in Indre Østfold, who is studying at the LIMPI art school in Lillehammer. He makes Norwegian country music and really feels like he has found his element. As a child he listened to a lot of Johnny Cash and Elvis, and that was it.

Chico is adopted from Colombia, and feels he represents a minority that is not often found in country music. Something he is very proud of! His dream is to be able to travel around Norway and play his songs, and tell stories from his own and other people's lives to those who need to hear it, or who just like a good story.
