Norsk Countrytreff is a green event, and encourages our artists to travel collectively in cases where this is possible, or by carpooling with a private car or rental car / minibus if there is a need for the space. Not insignificant members of the registered participants may not be changed without the organizer's consent. If it is necessary to make changes to the list of participants, for example due to illness or other similar circumstances, the organizer must be compensated financially if the participants for the performance are changed so much that this affects the quality of the concert, or that the audience perceives the change as a change in the offer and this has negative financial consequences for the organizer.
SHORTENED APPEARANCE

If the artist reduces the playing time by more than 10% without the reduction being necessary due to circumstances on the part of the organizer, the fee shall be reduced accordingly. The organizer shall be compensated for any losses associated with the reduction.

BREACH OF CONTRACT BY THE ORGANIZER
If the Organizer cancels the performance without legitimate reasons, the artist shall be reimbursed for the net loss incurred by the performance. The artist's duty to mitigate losses means that the artist must immediately reduce all costs associated with the assignment, for example by canceling transportation, technical equipment, personnel and promotional material, and must seek to book other assignments to replace this performance.
If local disasters occur and the organizer finds it inappropriate for the event to be held, the organizer has the right to cancel the event against paying the artist's direct costs.
MAJOR FORCE
Should an extraordinary situation arise that is beyond the parties' control, which makes it impossible to fulfill obligations under the Concert Agreement, and which under Norwegian law must be considered force majeure, such as a general strike, earthquake, war, tsunami or national mourning, the other party shall be notified of this as soon as possible. The party affected by force majeure is not obliged to carry out the assignment, but is also not entitled to fees/compensation. Any fees paid shall be repaid to the organizer.
In connection with force majeure situations, the parties have a mutual duty to inform each other of all circumstances that must be considered to be of significance to the other party. Such information shall be provided as quickly as possible to the parties' official representatives.
SAFETY
The organizer is responsible for the safety of the audience and the artist in connection with the performance. If the artist is to perform actions that affect the safety of the audience, such as stage diving, throwing objects from the stage, etc. this must be approved by the organizer in advance. Either party may require a risk analysis to be carried out prior to the event.
SOUND RECORDING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
The organizer is not responsible for any unlawful sound recordings/photo-taking by the audience. If the artist wishes to communicate to the audience through notices at the venue and this is communicated in reasonable time before the concert day, the organizer shall ensure this to a reasonable extent.
The organizer has the right to take pictures of the artist during the performance and use this in the marketing of the venue and the organizer to the extent that the artist consents to this.

OTHER MATTERS
The artist is self-employed, unless otherwise stated in the contract, and is responsible for taxes, fees, insurance, social security and other social benefits of any kind, unless otherwise specifically agreed between the parties. The artist is obliged to have insurance policies that are sufficient to cover any claim from the organizer arising from the artist's risk or liability under the Concert Agreement within the framework of standard insurance terms. This obligation is considered to be fulfilled if the artist takes out liability and risk insurance on terms that are considered ordinary within the industry.
The organizer has a right of retention in the fee for all claims the organizer may have against the artist in connection with the performance.
CHOICE OF LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The Concert Agreement shall be interpreted and governed by Norwegian law. In the event of a conflict between the Concert Agreement and its appendices, the Concert Agreement shall take precedence. The parties shall seek to resolve any dispute relating to the Concert Agreement amicably. If it is not possible to reach an amicable solution, the agreed venue is the organizer's venue.
