Cody Jinks has built his career on his own terms. Growing up near Fort Worth, Texas, he found his way in bars and honky-tonks, where he learned the value of hard work and independent creativity. Through his own record label, Late August Records , he has maintained a "do-it-yourself" philosophy that has made him one of the most respected independent country artists in the United States.
With the critically acclaimed album Change The Game (2024), Jinks showed a new depth in his songwriting. The album is about being honest with himself, taking responsibility, and finding a path to reconciliation - themes that stand strong for an artist who has never been afraid to show vulnerability. At the same time, he released Backside of 30 , a reissue of the 2012 fan favorite, and Cody Jinks Sings Lefty Frizzell - a tribute to one of his greatest role models.
Jinks has released ten studio albums to date that have consistently topped Billboard's country and indie charts, with over 3.5 billion streams and eight gold and platinum singles - including the mega-hit Loud and Heavy . He is a two-time Music Row Independent Artist of the Year and has sold out concerts at some of the biggest stages in the United States, including the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
With his band – The Tone Deaf Hippies – Jinks is known for powerful concerts that can last for two hours, where the energy from the stage meets an audience that has followed him for almost two decades. In 2025 he embarked on the Hippies and Cowboys Tour , and in 2026 he will travel to Norway and Breim - for the first time in Scandinavia!
Cody Jinks continues to walk his own path – true to his roots, his fans, and the real, down-to-earth American music he represents.
