Thank you for this year!

Norsk Countrytreff became one of those fairy tales that you dream about, but hardly dare to hope for. The July weather proved to be capricious, something we've experienced thousands of times over the past 29 years, but after a wet start on Wednesday and a slightly gray day on Thursday, the sun came out and warmed us from the outside throughout the rest of the festival.

We are proud of our village, of the 800 fantastic volunteers; area managers, sanitary guards, camping guards, those who sell food and drink in Kolbeins and Hesjestauren and those who work behind the scenes and who never get to stand out. By those who keep the officials alive in our crew fair, those who make the logistics possible, but also by the police and health, by the cooperation with the parish council and Breimsbygda Idrettslag, other teams and organizations, sponsors and local shops, all the districts that organize around our downtown concerts, Gloppen Kommune, Vestland Fylkeskommune, Kulturrådet - and not least all the residents of Breim and Gloppen who allowed us to flood them with lucky visitors throughout these 5 days.

We would never have managed this without all of you!

And then there are the artists. They come from near and far, entertaining us, filling us with culture and impressions from both Lærdal and Nashville. Jens-Petter Dyrdal, Caitlin Palm, Bad Brooks, Kruttrøyk, Vassendgutane, Lanz Bulldogs, Bare Fjas og Blågras, The Kody Norris Show, Roy Lønhøiden, Anne Fagermo, Dag Erik Oksvold, Signe Marie Rustad, Jonas Fjeld, Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra, Jade Eagleson, Kinsey Rose, The Boots Band, Rotlaus, Betty Roots, Longhorn, We Met In June, Oda Trøen, Sivert Bjørdal, Chris Kläfford, Harald Thune, Hellbillies, Rune Rudberg Band, Asleep At The Wheel, Get Rhythm, Crashville and Bråtabrann. Many thanks to everyone!

24,000 people have enjoyed themselves over 5 days, folks. Safely looked after by 800 volunteers. In a village with 1400 inhabitants. It's crazy, but it's possible.

But we won't rest on our laurels! Next year it will be 30 years since it all started, and we are well underway with the planning of next year's festival.

This year will be tough to top.

But we said that last year, too...
